MCP Inspect pricing: Free and Team

Start MCP contract inspection for free. Compare the $100/month Team plan, telemetry allowances, usage retention and current preview limits.

MCP Inspect offers Free and Team plans for its hosted service. Start with a free hosted account, email and password, and one public MCP URL. The free browser checker and local mcprobe snapshot, diff and check commands work without a hosted account.

#What does each plan cost?

Prices are in USD, per organization. Telemetry allowances reset at UTC calendar month boundaries. They describe accepted telemetry events, not the number of contract snapshots or tool definitions.

PlanMonthly baseMonthly telemetry allowanceBeyond the allowanceUsage retention
Free$01 million eventsCapped; excess events are dropped90 days
Team$10050 million events$2 per whole additional million365 days

Snapshot history is retained independently of usage retention. Team accepts events past its allowance and meters the overage; Free cannot incur a telemetry overage bill. For example, 53.9 million accepted Team events in a calendar month produce three whole overage units: a $6 overage, giving a $106 estimate including the base price. A partial additional million is not charged.

Polar issues subscription invoices. Its renewal date may differ from calendar allowance boundaries, and delayed metering can appear on a later invoice. A calendar-month estimate is not an invoice. An organization owner manages checkout and the customer portal in the console.

#What can I use today?

Instrumentation and the standalone GitHub Action remain approved previews. Hosted usage queries and long-term usage rollups are pending. Do not choose Team on the assumption that those pending usage answers are already available; start with Free to evaluate contract capture and comparison.

#Which plan should I start with?

Use Free for your first contract baseline and next comparison. The published CLI can gate a pull request without upgrading. Team changes the telemetry allowance and usage retention; it does not make a compatibility verdict more certain. Missing observed usage is never proof that a contract is unused.
